Meet Bones. He came to us at 5 to 6 weeks old weighing just 6 ounces, severely emaciated, and by Thursday of that first week we honestly didn’t think he was going to make it. He went to the emergency vet on Friday, got fluids, antibiotics, and medication to clear the parasites that were robbing him of every calorie.
And then Bones decided he had other plans.
Today he weighs almost 2 lbs., he is rambunctious, and he has opinions about everything. He loves being held, he eats like it’s a competition, and he is exactly the kind of kitten who will make you forget you ever worried about him. The light that came back in his eyes in that first week never left.
