Hi I'm Toby. I hear that I am a sweet, loving boy. I get a little nervous at first, but I warm up fast. You can see me trying to lay in a volunteer's lap after an hour of meeting her. I would really love an active family to go on walks with. I walk better than most dogs on a leash. Don't get me wrong I also love to cuddle and give you plenty of kisses. However; I am still young and need regular exercise or I start to go stir crazy. I am still in training and need someone to teach me the basic commands and behaviors like what not to chew on. Since I am looking for a foster right now or better yet a forever home, the rescue is willing to provide one of their trainers to help you get me started with you! Pretty cool huh? I also enjoy soft toys and treats. I get along with cats, dogs, and kids. A slow introduction is best when I am overwhelmed, but once I get used to everyone all I want to do is be part of the family and with you all the time. I am also fine being crated, but I prefer to be with you when you are home.
