Tater Tot may be named after a potato, but this boy has some serious horsepower! This handsome young Lab/Vizsla mix recently took first place in the Wags and Wiggles Fast and Furriest race, and he's got the enthusiasm to match his athletic talent.
Tater Tot loves long walks, games of fetch with his favorite Nerf ball, chew toys, belly rubs, and just about anything involving his favorite people. Hot dogs are a particularly effective way to win his attention! He's a playful, affectionate, fun-loving guy with plenty of puppy energy and a serious appreciation for a good cuddle.
In his foster home, Tater Tot has proven to be quite the houseguest. He's fully house-trained, uses the doggy door like a pro, and has done beautifully with other dogs. He even made friends with a 13-pound Chihuahua during a recent dog-sitting stay! He enjoys car rides and adventures, and once he's had his fill of activity, he's perfectly happy to settle in beside his people for some TV time.
Tater Tot is a smart, enthusiastic young dog who will thrive with an active, experienced family that enjoys training and keeping life interesting. He can get mouthy and overly excited during play, so he'll benefit from continued work on calm manners, consistent routines, and positive reinforcement. An adult-only home with thoughtful, experienced handlers and secure entryways will give him the structure and guidance he needs.
This speedy little athlete has already earned his first-place ribbon. Now he's looking for someone to share the finish line with, whether that's at the end of a long walk, a game of fetch, or a race to claim the comfiest spot on the couch.
