I'm not quite ready to go to my new home.

Dune

I'm in the Recovery Room - I'll Be Available Soon

Hi my name is Dune. The shelter said I am about 4 years old, but the vet believes I am closer to 2 years old. I was rescued off the E-list; I was pregnant and shut down. I came to this place called a foster home and had my 7 babies shortly after. I just got done nursing them. When I came to my foster home, I was completely shut down and it took weeks before I allowed anyone to touch me. My foster mom has been working with me and I am very loving with her. I am getting used to being touched, but will need a patient family to help me get over my fears while continuing to help socialize me. I am currently in a home with other dogs, I don't mind them, but my foster mom has not introduced me to them yet. I have only been with my puppies. I am a little leary of men. I am not aggressive with them, but my foster mom has an older son that is big and loud and I bark at him every time I see him. I am afraid of the leash and will chew through them, so a backyard would suit me best versus having to go on walks.
