Hi! My name is Cooper or Pepper is what they called me at county. I have had a rough start and was almost euthanized at county for having Valley Fever and limping. I was pretty under the weather and down when my amazing foster parents took me in. They have been by my side from the second they picked me up from county. Helping me get past my trauma and medical issues. The Dr. told them I needed my leg amputated and my foster mom really did everything to try to stop that from happening but sadly it needed to happen. I didn't let it bring me down. I quickly learned to walk with my three remaining legs and do not let it deter me from being a dog. But mom says I am a super star. Feeling so much better and ready to meet my furever family. She says anyone would be lucky to have me as I am a gem and stole her heart. I have been to a few adoption events and I do not bark at anyone. I do let the the other dogs know if I do not feel like playing, but I am still a gentleman about it. Kids have come to pet me, but I still should be tested fully. My foster mom does not allow them to lay on me or be in my face for too long. I am still recovering from my amputation and trauma, so she likes to make sure I am not overwhelmed.
