Meet Bruno! He’s an estimated 2-year-old, 50-pound gentle, easygoing dog who loves having other dogs around for company and guidance. He watches the other dogs in his foster home to understand what he should be doing, making him a great addition to a multi-dog household. When left alone in the yard, Bruno entertains himself by “befriending” a plant and will often hide near it. He loves to play with both dogs and humans but is mostly a relaxed guy who enjoys his naps.
Bruno is curious but cautious around cats, though he hasn’t had much interaction due to the resident cat being wary of him. He rarely barks—only once so far—and is a sweet, gentle soul who will softly seek out attention.
He’s a well-mannered house guest, showing no interest in jumping on furniture, even though the other dogs in his foster home are allowed. Bruno has also made great progress with training: he’s fully potty trained, walks well on a leash, knows how to use a doggie door (even with a donut collar on), and is working on commands like “sit,” “leave it,” and “come.” Though he’s still learning to enjoy treats and isn’t sure about pup cups, his foster sisters are showing him the ropes. Bruno would be a wonderful companion for any household looking for a calm, loving dog who is eager to learn and be part of the family.
