Chanel is a 2-year-old Bulldog mix with an adorable little face, a wiggly nub of a tail, and a personality all her own! This sweet, sometimes stubborn little lady has a soft side that really shines when she's feeling comfortable and secure.
Chanel enjoys affection from people she trusts and has been known to lean right into pets and attention. She's a wonderful passenger in the car, walks nicely on a leash, knows how to sit, and has a special appreciation for her favorite toys. She's also been described as a bit of a couch potato, so a comfortable place to lounge is definitely on her wish list!
Chanel has some strong feelings about her belongings, particularly toys, and can become protective of things she values. She does best with patient, predictable interactions and people who understand canine body language and respect her boundaries. An experienced, adult-only home would be the best fit for this little girl.
Chanel's interactions with another dog in her current foster home have been mixed, and we're still learning what kinds of canine relationships might work for her. For now, we'd love to find her a home where she can have time to herself and enjoy the individual attention, companionship, and everyday family life she's been missing.
With a consistent routine, plenty of enrichment, and a family willing to understand her unique personality, Chanel has so much potential. She's looking for someone who will give her the opportunity to feel safe, build trust, and finally enjoy all the little comforts of being somebody's beloved dog.
