Fantastic really does live up to his name.
At seven years old, this handsome guy has the kind of personality that makes him hard to forget. In boarding at Heidi’s Village, Fantastic is the social center of his play groups. He loves being part of the action, makes friends easily, and seems to have a natural talent for winning over both dogs and people. He is charismatic, charming, affectionate, and just mischievous enough to keep things interesting.
Fantastic is also a remarkably easy dog to spend time with. His county volunteers repeatedly described him as mellow, happy-go-lucky, affectionate, and a pleasure to be around. He solicited attention, happily wandered the yard before circling back for pets, took treats gently, accepted handling easily, knew “sit,” and was observed walking on a loose leash. He also appeared potty trained. Another volunteer summed up an outing with him simply: he was a “GOOD boy” who enjoyed a leisurely jog around the yard followed by pets and treats.
And Fantastic knows exactly how charming he is. He can smooth-talk his way out of just about anything with that face and his easygoing personality—not that he has much to talk his way out of. Underneath all that charisma is a genuinely well-behaved, sweet-natured dog who seems happiest when he has people and canine friends to share his day with.
Fantastic survived the euthanasia list and made it safely to Rescue Street, but boarding was never supposed to be his destination. He is ready for the part where someone finally gets to call this lovable, social, ridiculously charming guy their own. If you’re looking for a dog who is friendly, affectionate, fun without being exhausting, and pretty much an all-around delight, Fantastic would argue that the answer is right there in his name.
