Stitch is a four-year-old, neutered athlete with a lovebug hidden underneath all that horsepower. He thrives on physical activity and would be thrilled to join someone for walks, adventures, training sessions, and anything involving an agility course. He is curious, eager to learn new tricks, and highly treat motivated, making training feel less like homework and more like a game the two of you play together.
Once the activity winds down, Stitch is equally enthusiastic about affection. He loves snuggling, staying close to his person, and delivering face kisses with very little concern for personal space. His ideal home would appreciate both versions of him: the energetic dog ready to tackle the next challenge and the cuddly companion who wants to settle beside you afterward.
Stitch’s size and exuberant play style can be overwhelming for many small or senior dogs, so he has had limited direct interaction with the other dogs in his foster home. He has not displayed aggression or reactivity during those brief encounters, but his dog-to-dog experience in foster care remains limited. He has not been tested with cats.
Stitch does well with older children. Younger children would need to be sturdy and have attentive parents, as Stitch sometimes forgets to calculate his own weight, strength, and trajectory before launching himself toward the fun.
Stitch’s best match will be an active person or family who enjoys teaching new things, welcomes enthusiastic affection, and has room in their life for a dog who plays hard, loves deeply, and is ready to become someone’s favorite adventure partner.
