Coke's story is not an easy one. Found on the side of the road after losing her sibling, this tiny tortoiseshell stayed by that kitten's side and fought off anyone who came near. She was scared, grieving, and doing the only thing she knew how to do -- protect her family.
She is still working through it. Coke will occasionally hiss when she feels unsure, and that's okay. She has come an incredibly long way in a very short time and every day she gets a little braver. She is not a kitten who will jump into your lap on day one -- but she is a kitten who, once she decides she trusts you, will have chosen you completely.
Coke needs a patient home that understands her history and will give her the time and space to fully bloom. She is worth every second of it.
